Privacy Policy

In short

LUTLINE edits your video on your iPhone. Your media never leaves the device through the app. There is no account, no advertising and no cross-app tracking. The only data that leaves the phone is what Apple needs to process a purchase and, if enabled in a release, anonymous purchase-status measurement that contains no media, names or identifiers tied to you.

1. Who is responsible

LUTLINE is published by Yakup Pekdemir, trading as Pekdemir Labs, in Türkiye ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy. Contact: [email protected].

2. What stays on your device

Your videos, frames, projects, grades, imported .cube LUT files, LUT names, camera-profile choices and Photos selections are processed and stored on your device. LUTLINE does not upload media to any server for editing, analysis, thumbnails, backups or advertising. Exports are written to the destination you choose (Photos, a Files folder or the share sheet) and nowhere else.

LUTLINE reads only the items you pick through the system photo picker or the Files browser. It does not request access to your whole photo library. Saving to Photos uses add-only access.

3. Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive from Apple only the information needed to verify an entitlement (for example that a subscription is active and when it renews). We do not receive your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

4. Optional purchase measurement

Release builds may include the RevenueCat SDK in observer mode to help us operate subscriptions and understand which upgrade presentation works. When enabled, LUTLINE sends anonymous purchase-status and paywall-impression data limited to: the placement and variant shown, the app version, timing, and the purchase outcome. A random app-instance identifier is used so events from one installation can be grouped; it is not linked to your name, email, Apple Account, advertising identifier or device identifier.

If RevenueCat's Customer Center is enabled, it is limited to reviewed subscription-support routes. LUTLINE does not enable feedback surveys, custom actions or free-text collection. RevenueCat's own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

RevenueCat never grants or revokes access: entitlements are decided by Apple's StoreKit on the device, and a paid entitlement is not removed because the network is unavailable.

5. What we do not collect

  • Your media, file names, LUT names, project names or Photos identifiers
  • Your email address, name, contacts, location or advertising identifier
  • Text you type in the app
  • Analytics about how you use the editor

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use data for cross-app advertising or tracking. LUTLINE does not use an account system.

6. Crash and diagnostic data

If you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us anonymised crash logs and usage statistics through App Store Connect. That sharing is controlled by Apple and by your iOS settings, not by the app. LUTLINE's own export trace (used to diagnose a failed export) stays on the device unless you choose to send it to us yourself.

7. Support email

If you write to [email protected], we keep the message and any attachments you send for as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of the support history, then delete them. Please do not send video you would not want us to see; a description, a screenshot and the export trace are usually enough.

8. This website

lutline.app is a static site served through Cloudflare. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts and loads no third-party fonts or trackers. Cloudflare may process connection data (such as IP address and request headers) to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The site stores your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage; nothing is sent to us.

9. Your choices and rights

  • You can use the Free tier without a purchase.
  • You can restore purchases and manage or cancel a subscription through Apple, from LUTLINE Settings or your Apple Account.
  • Deleting the app removes locally stored projects and LUTs from that device. It does not cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
  • Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, the UK, Türkiye and California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data about you, or to object to it. Because LUTLINE keeps almost nothing about you, most requests are answered by explaining what is (not) held. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Children

LUTLINE is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

The little data that leaves the device (purchase verification through Apple, optional anonymous measurement, support email) may be processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate, under their published safeguards.

12. Changes

Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. The version in the app's Settings links here, so the current text is always the one at this URL.
